AERODOM projects 1.9 million seats for 2026-2027 winter season

AERODOM, part of the VINCI Airports network, projects approximately 1.9 million scheduled seats across its international airports—Las Américas, Puerto Plata, and Samaná—for the winter season spanning late October 2026 to late March 2027.

This represents a 4.9% increase compared to the previous winter, including over 10,500 departures and eight additional international destinations. Canada is expected to lead this growth with over 230,000 seats, a 33% increase.

Key developments include new direct connections from Santo Domingo to Rome via ITA Airways, Montreal via Air Canada, Houston via United Airlines, and Paramaribo via Fly Always. Additionally, new routes will connect to Caracas and Cap-Haïtien. Existing routes will also see capacity increases, such as JetBlue doubling its capacity between Fort Lauderdale and Santo Domingo and American Airlines significantly increasing flights to Philadelphia.
