Aerodrom Municipality distributes tablets to fourth-grade students
Aerodrom Municipality and the Ministry of Education and Science have distributed tablets to fourth-grade students at primary schools within the municipality. The initiative, held at ‘Ljuben Lape’ primary school, marks the fifth consecutive year the local government has implemented the ‘Tablet for Every Child’ project using municipal budget funds.
For this year's cycle, the municipality provided 830 tablets to support digital learning and interactive instruction. In addition to the devices, the municipality has provided 7,500 free school uniforms and, in cooperation with the Ministry, free textbooks.
Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska emphasized that the initiative helps create equal opportunities for all children, particularly those from lower-income families, by providing access to digital textbooks and internet-based resources. She noted that the government has also invested in digital infrastructure, including interactive boards and wireless internet, across more than 160 schools.
