Aeroflow Breastpumps survey highlights challenges in meeting breastfeeding goals
A 2026 Breastfeeding Support Survey by Aeroflow Breastpumps reveals that while many mothers are committed to breastfeeding, significant challenges prevent them from reaching their goals. Nearly 80% of surveyed mothers intended to continue breastfeeding after returning to work, and approximately 80% planned to breastfeed for at least four months.
However, nearly 40% of respondents who aimed to breastfeed for seven months or longer failed to meet that milestone. The survey highlights widespread difficulties, noting that nearly three-quarters of mothers reported feelings of stress or anxiety related to breastfeeding and feeding their infants. Additionally, one in four mothers reported low confidence during the postpartum period.
