Aeroitalia adjusts Rome–Alghero flight schedules and capacity

Aeroitalia has announced operational adjustments to its Rome Fiumicino–Alghero route following protests from political figures, unions, and civil society regarding previous flight reductions.

To address passenger needs, the airline has rescheduled the evening flight from Rome to Alghero on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays to a 20:30 departure. On all other days, the departure time remains unchanged at 21:35.

Additionally, the carrier is increasing capacity on the Alghero–Rome Fiumicino route throughout October to meet high demand. Specific updates include capacity increases on October 1, 4, and 5, with an extra flight added on October 4. A further increase in capacity has been confirmed for the 07:10 flight on October 15. Despite rising fuel costs, the company stated its intention to protect the mobility of Sardinian residents and continue monitoring market needs.
