Aeroitalia expands holiday flight connections to Sardinia

Aeroitalia has announced an expansion of its flight schedule to accommodate increased travel demand during the Christmas and New Year holiday period. The airline is introducing special connections between Northern Italian cities and Sardinia.

Flights will link Genoa and Trieste with Alghero and Olbia. The service is scheduled to run between December 23 and January 6. These routes aim to facilitate family reunions and holiday tourism, building on similar connections previously operated during the summer season.

CEO Gaetano Intrieri stated that these special connections allow the airline to respond to heightened mobility needs and consolidate its presence in the region during one of the year's most significant travel periods.
