Aeroklub Sinj completes purchase of skydiving aircraft

Aeroklub Sinj has completed the purchase of a Cessna U-206F aircraft, marking the culmination of a strategic project spanning nearly two years. The aircraft is specifically equipped for skydiving activities, featuring specialized gear such as handholds, footrests, and roll doors. It is capable of carrying five skydivers in addition to the pilot and can also be configured for passenger or cargo transport.

While the purchase price of the aircraft has been paid in full, the club faces a remaining financial requirement of 45,000 euros to cover VAT and administrative costs, including registration in the Croatian Aircraft Register and necessary spare parts. These funds are due by the end of November.

Club President Zvonko Kovačević credited the success of the project to the financial support of the Split-Dalmatia County. He expressed gratitude to County Prefect Blaženko Boban and other local officials for their assistance in securing the necessary funding through the county budget.
