Aerolíneas Argentinas and Smiles offer new flight financing options

Aerolíneas Argentinas has introduced a new financing initiative allowing passengers to purchase domestic and international tickets in up to 18 interest-free installments. This program is the result of strategic agreements with several financial institutions, including Banco Nación, Banco Provincia, and Banco Macro, as well as various private banks. Depending on the specific credit card and issuing entity, users may also access zero-interest plans for 3, 6, or 12 payments. The offer is available through the airline's official website, physical branches, and authorized travel agencies.

In a separate development regarding travel planning, the Smiles mileage program is highlighting its ‘Viaje Fácil’ tool. This system allows travelers to freeze promotional ticket prices up to 11 months in advance by paying only taxes, fees, and an initial service charge of $12,000. The remaining balance of the ticket can then be paid up to 60 days before the flight date, providing a mechanism to manage travel costs through staggered payments.
