Aeroméxico and Compartamos Banco partner to use sustainable aviation fuel

Aeroméxico and Compartamos Banco have entered into a strategic alliance to promote the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to reduce environmental impacts. The partnership aims to support Aeroméxico’s goal of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050 and assists Compartamos Banco in reducing emissions related to corporate travel.

Industry representatives noted that SAF can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80% over its life cycle compared to conventional fossil fuels. This collaboration is intended to accelerate the transition toward a more sustainable aviation industry within Mexico and Latin America.
