Aeroplan announces new travel benefits for credit cardholders

Aeroplan has announced a major refresh of its Canadian co-branded credit card portfolio, introducing new travel benefits scheduled to begin on January 12, 2027.

Key updates for all primary cardholders include a 15% savings in points when redeeming for Air Canada flight rewards. Additionally, the 4th night free hotel redemption and a new 4th day free car rental redemption will become ongoing benefits.

Through the AC Wallet, Premium cardholders will receive up to $100 annually toward Air Canada travel, while Core cardholders will receive up to $50 annually. These travel credits will be distributed in two installments per year starting January 15, 2027.

Premium cardholders will also see expanded lounge access, gaining entry to Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges worldwide for themselves and one companion, alongside access to dedicated Priority Security lanes at select locations.
