Aerosmith has announced a return to the stage with two special concerts titled ‘California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends’ at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The performances are scheduled for October 29 and November 1. This marks the band’s first full live appearance since they announced their retirement from touring in 2024 following a serious vocal cord injury suffered by frontman Steven Tyler in 2023.

Reports indicate that Tyler’s vocal cords are in “great” shape, following a period of rest and rehabilitation. The upcoming shows will feature an extensive lineup of guest artists, including The Black Crowes, Run-DMC, Heart, Billy Idol, Slash, Duff McKagan, and Tom Morello, among many others. Don Was will serve as the music director for the event.

Ticket presales are expected to begin on October 8, with general sales following on October 10. The lineup for each night will vary, and additional surprise guests may be announced leading up to the shows.
