Aerosmith announces two special concerts at Hollywood Bowl

Aerosmith Hollywood Bowl rock music comeback Steven Tyler California Dream On

Aerosmith has announced a return to the stage for two special concerts titled ‘California, Dream On: Aerosmith & Friends’ at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The performances are scheduled for October 29 and November 1, 2026.

This comeback follows the band’s decision to retire from touring in August 2024, a move prompted by frontman Steven Tyler’s inability to fully recover from a serious larynx injury sustained in 2023. These shows are presented as independent celebratory events rather than the start of a new world tour.

The concerts will feature an extensive lineup of guest artists from various genres, including Slash, Run-DMC, Heart, The Black Crowes, Billy Idol, and Tom Morello. Other confirmed participants include Sammy Hagar, Chad Smith, Duff McKagan, and Eric Church. Musical direction will be provided by producer Don Was. The specific guest lineup is expected to vary between the two nights, with additional surprise appearances to be announced.

Ticket pre-sales are scheduled to begin on October 8, with general sales starting on October 10, 2026.
