Aerospace manufacturers expand industrial presence in Morocco
Major aerospace manufacturers are expanding their industrial footprints in Morocco. Safran Electrical & Power has inaugurated an extension of its Aïn Atiq site in Témara. The expansion adds 5,700 square meters to the facility, bringing the total site area to 31,400 square meters. This project is expected to create 400 new jobs and focuses on the production of aeronautical electrical harnesses.
Simultaneously, Swedish group Trelleborg has announced plans to expand its aerospace facility in Nouaceur, near Casablanca. Through an agreement with MEDZ, the company intends to increase its covered surface area from 5,209 square meters to over 10,000 square meters. The Nouaceur site specializes in sealing systems for aircraft, producing technical seals used on structures such as wing fairings.
These investments highlight the growing integration of Morocco into global aerospace value chains and the increasing presence of international industrial groups within the country's aeronautical ecosystem.
