Aerospace sector sees Rocket Lab launch success and Airbus production recovery

The aerospace and space sectors are experiencing significant operational shifts. Rocket Lab successfully completed its 94th Electron mission, deploying Synspective’s StriX satellite into low Earth orbit. Despite this operational success, the company lost a $700 million NASA Mars communication contract to Blue Origin.

In aviation, Airbus has resumed deliveries of the A330neo after a production halt caused by a forgotten tool in the horizontal stabilizer. The issue resulted in zero deliveries during June and July, with only one aircraft delivered to Starlux Airlines in August. Airbus maintains its annual goal of delivering approximately 870 aircraft.

Meanwhile, SpaceX faces delays for its Crew-13 mission to the International Space Station after an oxidizer leak was discovered in the Dragon capsule's propulsion system. NASA has not yet announced a rescheduled launch date.
