Aerospace Technology Exhibition to open in Changwon
The 2nd International Aerospace Technology Exhibition (AEROTEC) will be held at the Changwon Convention Center from September 30 to October 2. The event showcases the latest technologies in drones, defense, and aerospace materials, components, and equipment.
Major industry players are participating to demonstrate advanced capabilities. Hyundai Rotem will present its methane engine technology designed for reusable space launch vehicles. Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) will exhibit technologies related to next-generation medium satellites and low-orbit communication satellites. Additionally, KAI and Hanwha Aerospace are strengthening their collaboration on domestic aircraft development and long-range air-to-air guided missile systems.
Specialized component manufacturers like Dongwon Parts are also participating, highlighting the integration of semiconductor-grade precision machining with metal 3D printing to produce lightweight, complex aerospace components. The exhibition aims to facilitate international business networking, involving companies from nations including the United States, Germany, India, Canada, and Australia.
