Aertec Solutions reports record 20.2 million euro profit following drone unit sale

Aertec Solutions, the Malaga-based engineering firm specializing in aeronautics and defense, reported a historic profit of 20.2 million euros for 2025. This figure represents a significant increase from the 1.2 million euros earned in the previous fiscal year.

The surge in profits is attributed to the sale of assets, specifically the divestment of its UAV (drone) business unit, Aertec Defence and Aerial Systems, to Indra. The company generated 29.9 million euros from asset sales during the period.

Following the sale of its Tarsis drone technology, Indra secured a 364.11 million euro government contract to develop and acquire 49 drones based on that design. While the technology was developed in Seville, Indra announced that large-scale production would take place in León.
