AESabesp to launch Women, Environment, and Sanitation Committee at Fenasan 2026

The Association of Sabesp Engineers (AESabesp) will officially launch the Committee for Women, Environment, and Sanitation during Fenasan 2026. Operating under the concept ‘Elos Entre Elas’, the initiative aims to strengthen female participation in the environmental sanitation sector.

The committee is designed to create a support network, promote the exchange of experiences, and encourage professional development and leadership among women working in sanitation and the environment. It will bring together professionals from public and private companies, regulatory bodies, universities, and consultancies on both a national and international level.

Alzira Garcia, the facilitator for the committee’s structure, stated that the initiative emerged from a strategic planning challenge to create a permanent space for professional connection. The goal is to build alternative paths for female protagonism and leadership within the industry.
