Aeterna Lucis set for December 2026 release

Aeternum Game Studios has announced that Aeterna Lucis, the sequel to Aeterna Noctis, is scheduled for release on December 3, 2026. The Metroidvania title will be available on PC via Steam and on consoles, including the Nintendo Switch.

Players will control the Queen of Light, a new protagonist tasked with preventing the destruction of existence by challenging the Supreme God Chaos. The game features a large, interconnected world with dynamic lighting systems and seamless exploration without loading screens. The announcement was accompanied by a new gameplay trailer showcasing combat and exploration mechanics.
