Aether Wizard Life announced for Fall 2028

Kinetic Publishing and developer Vonder Games have announced Aether Wizard Life, a cozy life simulation game scheduled for release in Fall 2028. The title is slated for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Players take on the role of a young apprentice mage in the coastal town of Starfell. The gameplay features a customizable walking castle that serves as the player's home. Activities include growing magical crops, raising creatures such as unicorns and alpacas, exploring dungeons to find Lost Elementals, and managing businesses like a potion shop or a tavern.

The game aims to blend relaxing simulation elements with a darker narrative involving spirits and a mysterious organization. Players can master over 30 skills, including spellcasting, rune crafting, and time manipulation, while building relationships with 20 datable characters. The developers cited inspirations such as Stardew Valley, Spiritfarer, and the animation style of Studio Ghibli.
