Aetolia-Acarnania excluded from social housing program

PASOK MP Christina Staraka has submitted a formal question to the Greek Parliament regarding the exclusion of the Aetolia-Acarnania region from the government's social housing program.

Staraka criticized the current administration for what she described as a policy of neglecting the prefecture. She highlighted that while a housing crisis affects many households and young people, Aetolia-Acarnania remains left out of the planning process. To support her claim, she noted that in Agrinio alone, there are three plots of land owned by DYPA totaling over 16 acres that remain unutilized.

The MP is demanding transparency regarding the criteria used for the exclusion and is calling for the immediate inclusion of the region in social housing plans, alongside the utilization of available public land in Agrinio.
