The first round of the AEW Continental Challenge Cup has concluded, determining the final participants for the quarterfinals. During the latest episode of AEW Collision in Las Vegas, three remaining spots were filled.

Hechicero secured a victory over Brian Cage using a crucifix pin. In a technical matchup, Nigel McGuinness defeated Katsuyori Shibata, recovering from a sleeper hold to secure a three-count. The final spot was claimed by Kyle O'Reilly, who defeated Roderick Strong via a roll-up in the night's main event.

Other winners advancing in the tournament include Claudio Castagnoli, Orange Cassidy, Eddie Kingston, Jay White, and Jon Moxley.
