AEW Dynamite draws 786,000 viewers, highest rating since July 2024
The July 15, 2026 episode of AEW Dynamite on TBS averaged 786,000 viewers, a 1.7 % rise over the previous week and the best total audience for the show since July 2024. In the key 18‑49 demographic the program posted a 0.15 rating, up 25 % from the prior week and matching its highest rating in that segment since August 2023. With no major sports competition that night – the MLB All‑Star break and no World Cup matches – Dynamite placed second in prime‑time cable ratings behind a WNBA game and ranked 12th overall among cable programs.
AEW also used the week to promote its inaugural Redemption pay‑per‑view, scheduled for July 26 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. Announced matches include Kenny Omega defending the AEW World Championship against Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher vs. Bandido for the International title, Mark Davis vs. Andrade El Idolo for the National title, and Chris Jericho’s “Painmaker” persona versus Tommaso Ciampa.
President Tony Khan later stated that AEW’s revenue is at its highest level ever, prompting continued investment in digital and other projects. Former wrestling writer Vince Russo praised Khan’s impact on the industry, saying critics of Khan are “wrong.”
A separate Mexican column highlighted the week’s standout performers – Will Ospreay, champion Hikaru Shida, and Andrade El Idolo – underscoring the ongoing in‑ring action leading up to the Redemption event.
