AEW Dynamite loads eight matches as Forbidden Door ticket sales surge

AEW’s June 24 2026 episode of Dynamite, broadcast from the Rio Rancho Events Center in New Mexico, will feature an expanded eight‑match card. The lineup includes the International Championship defense (Konosuke Takeshita vs. Ricochet), a trios showdown pitting Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta against Místico, Bandido and Brody King, as well as Will Ospreay vs. El Phantasmo and several Survival‑of‑the‑Fittest qualifiers. The stacked card is intended to build hype for the Forbidden Door pay‑per‑view on June 28 at San Jose’s SAP Center and to compete with the concurrent World Cup soccer coverage, according to AEW President Tony Khan.

The women’s division has undergone multiple roster changes. Initially, Toni Storm was slated to win the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament and challenge Thekla at All In in London, but Storm’s departure led to Willow Nightingale’s brief involvement before a shoulder injury forced her out. The tournament now culminates with Mercedes Moné versus Maya World, with the winner earning a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In on August 30.

Ticket sales for Forbidden Door have risen steadily, reaching 7,120 tickets sold—an increase of 80 in a day—and leaving roughly 140 tickets available on the secondary market. These figures reflect growing demand ahead of the event, which also ties into the broader AEW‑All In partnership.
