AEW holds Grand Slam: France event in Paris

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) held its debut event in France, Grand Slam: France, at the Adidas Arena in Paris on October 6, 2026. The special episode of Dynamite featured several high-profile championship matches.

In the main event, AEW World Champion Will Ospreay defeated Kazuchika Okada to retain his title. This victory sets the stage for the upcoming WrestleDream event, where Ospreay is scheduled to compete in the inaugural Clockwork Carnage match. Samoa Joe secured his spot in that match by defeating Jack Perry in a qualifying bout.

Other title defenses included Mercedes Moné retaining the AEW Women’s World Championship against Queen Aminata, Darby Allin retaining the AEW TNT Championship against Kyle Fletcher, and Bandido successfully defending the ROH World Championship against Kofi. The event also saw the Young Bucks retain the AEW World Tag Team Titles against The Dogs during the Collision taping.
