AEW potentially planning major event during WrestleMania 43 weekend

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is reportedly considering hosting a major pay-per-view event in Spring 2027 to coincide with the weekend of WWE's WrestleMania 43. While AEW has not officially confirmed specific details, company owner Tony Khan previously mentioned plans for a ‘huge show’ during that period.

WWE has confirmed that WrestleMania 43 will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in April 2027, marking the first time the event will be held outside of North America. However, WWE has yet to finalize the exact dates or venue. Industry insiders suggest that AEW may wait to reveal its own scheduling plans until WWE discloses its specific WrestleMania 43 details, which are anticipated to be announced during Crown Jewel week.
