AEW schedules Redemption pay‑per‑view in Montreal featuring Rougeau dynasty tribute
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) will hold its Redemption pay‑per‑view on July 26, 2026 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec. The event is still being assembled; the originally planned world‑title match between champion Kenny Omega and MJF has been moved to a Dynamite episode, and other potential challengers such as Andrade, Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey are under consideration.
AEW also announced that the Buy‑In portion of Redemption will honor the Rougeau wrestling family. The promotion will celebrate 80 years of the Rougeau dynasty, a four‑generation Canadian wrestling lineage, with a ceremony during the show. Jacques Rougeau told Bill Apter that he and his brother Raymond are “overwhelmed with joy” to be recognized at the Bell Centre in front of Montreal fans.
The announcement comes as AEW continues to expand its PPV calendar, with the Montreal event following earlier plans for the Full Gear PPV in Phoenix later in 2026. President and CEO Tony Khan indicated that the Rougeau tribute is part of a broader effort to recognize wrestling legends.
