AEW Wrestler Jay White Expected Back After Injury Scare

AEW star Jay White, leader of the Bang Bang Gang, suffered an injury scare during the double‑chain tag match at the Redemption event, where he was reportedly spiked on the head. Both Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez confirmed the injury was not serious and that White is expected to miss only about a week.

White is slated to compete in the upcoming Continental Cup tournament, which begins on AEW Collision this week and will conclude at All In: London on August 30. The tournament winner will claim the Continental Championship and earn an automatic spot in the later Continental Classic. Defending champion Jon Moxley and other notable competitors such as Orange Cassidy are also part of the field.
