AEW wrestlers face injury updates following All Out

AEW President Tony Khan has provided updates regarding several wrestlers dealing with significant injuries. Christian Cage reportedly attempted to continue competing during a three-way ladder match at All Out despite suffering three broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Khan described the situation as frightening and noted that Cage tried to downplay the severity of his injuries to the medical team.

Additionally, injured wrestlers Steven Borden and Penelope Ford were reportedly seen backstage at the AEW Dynamite event in Cleveland. Borden had previously been hospitalized following an injury during a tag team match at All Out, while Ford has been sidelined following a women’s tag team title match on Collision. Their presence backstage is viewed as a potential sign of an upcoming return to action.
