AEW's MJF and Mark Briscoe Set Teams for Forbidden Door 2026 Steel Cage Match

The Forbidden Door 2026 pay‑per‑view, co‑promoted by All Elite Wrestling, New Japan Pro‑Wrestling, STARDOM and CMLL, will take place on June 28 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. On the June 17 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW World Champion MJF and veteran Mark Briscoe will each select their six‑person squads for a 6‑vs‑6 steel‑cage match scheduled for the event. The two squads will first clash in a standard twelve‑man tag team match in Sugar Land, Texas. Briscoe is promised an AEW World Title opportunity if his team wins the cage bout, while Kevin Knight has joined MJF’s side in exchange for a future title shot. Qualifying matches for the TBS Championship and other women's contests were also highlighted as part of the broader card.
