Junta de Andalucía modernizes judicial infrastructure in Montilla

The Junta de Andalucía has inaugurated the rehabilitation of the Montilla courts in Córdoba, representing an investment of 967,402 euros. The project aimed to modernize the facility and improve working conditions and citizen services.

Technical upgrades include the renewal of electrical and climate control systems, the installation of LED lighting and solar panels, and the removal of architectural barriers. Additionally, magnetic loops were installed in the two courtrooms to improve accessibility for people with hearing impairments. These improvements have resulted in a 30% reduction in the building's energy consumption.

Manuel Gavira, the second Vice President of the Junta de Andalucía and Counselor of Tourism, Justice, Deregulation, and Local Administration, stated that judicial infrastructure improvements must reach all judicial districts across Andalusia, regardless of size, to ensure dignified facilities. This initiative aligns with the government pact between the PP and VOX to prioritize the modernization of judicial infrastructure throughout the community.
