AFC North standings shift as Ravens lead and Lamar Jackson's status remains uncertain
The Baltimore Ravens hold first place in the AFC North following a fifth-week overtime victory against the Atlanta Falcons. As the division enters Week 6, a competitive middle tier has formed following wins by the Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers, alongside a loss by the Cleveland Browns.
In Cincinnati, Joe Burrow threw four touchdown passes to lead the Bengals to a 31-24 win over the Miami Dolphins, snapping a two-game losing streak. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns saw their three-game winning streak end with a 17-12 loss to the New York Jets, a game marked by Deshaun Watson being sacked eight times.
Regarding the Ravens, head coach Jesse Minter has provided cautious updates on quarterback Lamar Jackson’s status. Jackson is currently managing an ankle injury, and while Minter noted that Jackson is “definitely doing better,” the team has not guaranteed his availability for upcoming practices or games. The Ravens are managing various personnel and injury issues as they prepare for increased competition starting in Week 7.
