AFCA Division II football rankings see Minnesota State and Slippery Rock climb
The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) has released updated Division II national rankings. Minnesota State has climbed to fourth in the poll following a 38-14 victory over Colorado Mesa, maintaining its status as the highest-ranked team in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.
Slippery Rock University entered the top 25 at No. 18 after a 45-43 double-overtime win against Minnesota Duluth. Conversely, Minnesota Duluth fell from 12th to 19th in the rankings.
Ferris State remains at the top of the poll, securing all 31 first-place votes. Harding and Kutztown continue to hold the second and third positions, respectively, while Colorado State Pueblo sits at fifth.
