Affidea Constanța introduces integrated oncology care pathway

Affidea Constanța has introduced an integrated oncology care pathway designed to guide patients through diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring. A central component of this service is the free ‘Patient Navigator’ program, which assists patients and their families by explaining medical steps and coordinating between various investigations and treatments.

The integrated approach allows patients to receive chemotherapy and advanced imaging at Affidea Constanța, while precision radiotherapy, such as stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT/SRS) using advanced linear accelerators, is provided through Affidea MedEuropa in Constanța. This enables patients to complete major stages of treatment within the same city.

Oncology treatments through Affidea MedEuropa are fully reimbursed by the National Health Insurance House, meaning there are no additional costs for the patient. The care model also includes a multidisciplinary oncology board for case discussions and a free psychological support program for patients.
