Affin Group named Official Banking Partner of Selangor FC

Affin Group has officially become the Official Banking Partner of Selangor FC following a strategic partnership agreement signed at Affin Tower, TRX. The agreement was signed by Affin Group President and CEO Datuk Wan Razly Abdullah and Selangor FC CEO Dr. Johan Kamal Hamidon, witnessed by the Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah.

The collaboration aims to explore various initiatives involving banking services, customer experience, fan engagement, and community programs. Through this partnership, Affin and Selangor FC intend to provide exclusive privileges and unique football experiences to Affin customers and the ‘Gergasi Merah’ supporter community.

As part of the launch, Affin introduced the Affin Selangor Visa Debit Card, an exclusive card for Selangor residents. Eligibility is limited to individuals aged 18 and above born in Selangor (indicated by code 10 in MyKad), students residing in Selangor, or those with home or office addresses in the state. The card offers benefits such as lifetime annual fee waivers, specific MEPS withdrawal exemptions, and a RM0 initial deposit for opening Affin Selangor savings or current accounts.
