Afghanistan Cricket Board removes video following map dispute

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has removed a promotional video for an upcoming three-match T20 series against India following a diplomatic dispute over map depictions. The controversy arose after the video featured a map of India that included Pakistan-administered Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan within its borders.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) expressed strong objections to the content and reportedly escalated the matter to Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Following the backlash from social media users in both Pakistan and India, the ACB deleted the original video.

A new promotional video has since been released, though the ACB has not officially clarified why the change was made. The new version features imagery such as India Gate in Delhi alongside a map of Kashmir, but does not clearly display specific territorial boundaries.
