Samandağ concrete mixer driver fined 191,867 TL for leaking concrete on road

A concrete mixer driver in the Samandağ district of Hatay has been issued an administrative fine of 191,867 TL after being filmed leaking concrete onto the Samandağ-Antakya ring road. The incident was captured by a citizen's mobile phone camera and reported to authorities.

Samandağ Municipality municipal police (zabıta) identified the driver following the report. The municipality stated that inspections regarding behaviors that threaten public order, environmental health, and road cleanliness will continue without compromise.

Local residents, particularly motorcyclists, have expressed significant concern regarding the safety risks posed by such incidents. They noted that hardened concrete on the road creates dangerous bumps and slippery surfaces, especially on curves, which can cause accidents and damage newly constructed state roads.
