AFK Journey announces Digimon Adventure crossover event

The fantasy RPG AFK Journey has announced a collaboration event with Digimon Adventure, scheduled to run from August 18 to September 14, 2026.

During the crossover, players will encounter characters Tai (Taichi), Agumon, Yamato (Matt), and Gabumon. The storyline involves these characters attempting to find their way back to the Digital World while facing the villainous Hypofiends. The event will introduce new playable character pairs, specifically Taichi and Agumon, as well as Yamato and Gabumon, featuring unique skills and ultimate abilities. Additionally, Agumon and Gabumon can digivolve into WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon.

Players can access the event through Windows PC, iOS, and Android devices. The collaboration includes various in-game rewards, such as exclusive cosmetics, headgear, outfits, and login bonuses.
