AFK Journey to host Digimon Adventure collaboration event

Toei Animation has announced a collaboration between the fantasy RPG ‘AFK Journey’, published by Farlight Games, and the anime ‘Digimon Adventure’. The event is scheduled to run from August 18, 2026, to September 15, 2026.

During the collaboration, players can encounter characters Tai Kamiya and Agumon, as well as Yamato Ishida and Gabumon, who will appear as special heroes. The update includes mechanics where Agumon can evolve into WarGreymon and Gabumon into MetalGarurumon during battle.

In addition to new heroes, the event features a dedicated storyline where characters travel through a dimensional rift to Esperia. Players can participate in missions to earn event currency, training elements to deepen bonds with Digimon, and exclusive login bonuses. The update will also introduce limited-edition costumes, head decorations, and frames inspired by the anime characters.
