AFL announces 2026 Marsh National Futures squads

AFL National Futures Marsh AFL AFL Draft 2027 Australian Rules Football youth talent showcase

The AFL has announced the playing squads for the 2026 Marsh AFL National Futures matches. The program features talented players born in 2009, who will be eligible for the 2027 Telstra AFL and AFLW Drafts.

Each squad will participate in a two-day high-performance program in Melbourne during September. The program includes talent showcase matches designed to assist in the selection process for the 2027 Marsh AFL National Academy programs.

The Marsh AFL National Futures Girls match is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, at Windy Hill, playing as a double-header with a Richmond and St Kilda NAB AFLW match. The Marsh AFL National Futures Boys match will be held at the MCG on Saturday, September 26, serving as a curtain-raiser to the Toyota AFL Grand Final.

Notable inclusions in the squads include several father-son prospects such as Koby Bewick, Percy Burgoyne, Tevita Rodan, and Louis Salopek. The matches will be broadcast live and free via the AFL website and the AFL Live Official App.
