Afpa announces closure of 30 training centers across France
The Afpa, a French adult vocational training organization, is undergoing a global downsizing due to a significant decline in revenue. This restructuring plan involves the closure of 30 centers out of 142 establishments across France.
In the Brittany region, centers in Morlaix, Brec’h, and Saint-Malo are confirmed for closure. Specifically, the Morlaix site is scheduled to close in June 2027.
In the Grand Est region, the Saint-Dizier center is included in the initial closure scenario, affecting 20 employees locally. However, regional management has indicated a four-to-five-month window for social dialogue to seek alternative solutions, such as the mutualization of the site with other operators, to avoid permanent closure.
