Africa Global Logistics launches Schools for Prosperity program
Africa Global Logistics (AGL) has launched the third edition of its Solidarity Day, centered on the theme ‘Schools for Prosperity’. The initiative aims to promote access to quality education across the company’s African operations through the official launch of a new sponsorship program.
The Schools for Prosperity program is designed to improve learning conditions by supporting school infrastructure renovation, providing equipment, assisting teachers, and promoting access to education for girls. AGL intends to expand its previous efforts, which have already supported 18 schools since 2025, by mobilizing employees across approximately thirty schools in various countries.
In Douala, Cameroon, over 500 employees participated in a 6 km walk at the Bessengue railway station to mark the event. Serge Agnero, AGL’s Regional Director for the Gulf of Guinea, stated that the day reflects the company’s desire to act concretely for the well-being of local communities beyond its role as a logistics operator.
