African cultural leaders discuss artistic transmission and youth creativity
In Rabat, Morocco, a conference titled “The Africa of Tomorrow, what transmission for what utopia?” brought together experts in art, literature, and law to discuss the future of African creation. Rochdi Bernoussi, director of the Bank Al-Maghrib Museums, emphasized that cultural transmission must involve a dialogue between generations, allowing youth to reinterpret heritage rather than just preserving it.
Simultaneously, in Batna, Algeria, the national festival of plastic arts and graffiti for youth opened, featuring participants from 36 provinces. Organized by the Direction of Youth and Sports, the event focuses on themes such as national memory and the construction of the future through artistic canvases and mural paintings.
