African institutions discuss academic cooperation and democratic governance
In Chad, the National Assembly met with a delegation from Harvest Christian University to discuss academic and institutional cooperation. Represented by First Vice-President Dr. David Houdeingar Ngarimaden, the Assembly explored potential partnerships in training, diplomacy, and international relations to better prepare a new generation of leaders for Africa's socio-economic and political challenges.
Meanwhile, in Senegal, alumni of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation held a forum in Dakar focused on democratic leadership, the rule of law, and governance. Participants evaluated the state of Senegalese democracy following the 2024 institutional crisis, discussing the functionality of institutions, corruption, and the importance of fostering youth leadership in the political sphere.
