Despite the plan to hold at least four sessions, a political impasse remains. Laws concerning fair representation, higher education, and local self-government are currently stalled due to a lack of consensus and procedural challenges. Gashi characterized the current legislative difficulties as a political issue rather than a purely procedural one, noting that the opposition, specifically the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), has used procedural remarks that he describes as an abuse of the Rules of Procedure.

Gashi emphasized that he will not allow these procedural tactics to trigger early parliamentary elections, stating that such a move would require 61 deputies to dissolve the Assembly. He has called for dialogue between political leaders to find a resolution and has requested that the Commission for Rules and Mandates provide a formal interpretation of procedural requirements to prevent future blockades.
