Afrobrix festival returns to Brescia in September 2026

The seventh edition of Afrobrix, Italy’s first festival dedicated to Afro-descendant culture, will take place from September 4 to 6, 2026, at the Centro Comboni in Brescia. Organized by the Centro Afrobrix – Missionari Comboniani in collaboration with several foundations and the Municipality of Brescia, the event aims to promote multiculturalism and foster interaction between second-generation communities and local citizens.

The festival will feature a diverse program spanning music, art, fashion, cinema, and gastronomy. The musical lineup includes artists such as Lelis Sylel, Amaro, One Sound, Djelyba Système, Sawa, Arya, and Kora Beat. Artistic director Fabrizio Colombo described the event as a way to celebrate Afro-descendant roots as a vital part of Italian culture, ranging from art and music to sports and cinema.
