Afroditi Latinopoulou criticizes Prime Minister Mitsotakis
Afroditi Latinopoulou, president of the Voice of Reason party, issued a sharp critique of Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during a recent interview with Mega TV. Latinopoulou held the Prime Minister responsible for various national issues, describing his administration's actions as a “feast of the century.”
She specifically criticized the government's economic policies, alleging that instead of implementing necessary reforms during periods of parliamentary majority, the administration focused on high taxation to fund subsidies and the distribution of public resources. Latinopoulou also addressed concerns regarding migration flows, cost of living, and direct state contracts.
Furthermore, the party leader commented on foreign policy, characterizing the government's handling of the situation involving Turkey and Libya as a “diplomatic Waterloo.” She emphasized that the responsibility for the country's current state lies with the leadership, stating that “the fish stinks from the head.”
