Afroditi Latinopoulou proposes military presence in Roma camps

Afroditi Latinopoulou, president of Voice of Reason, has proposed several radical measures regarding migration and policing in Greece. During an interview with MEGA, she suggested deploying permanent military units to Roma camps to address alleged illegal activities. She stated that these measures would target those failing to meet legal obligations, while clarifying that individuals with permanent housing who pay taxes would not be affected.

Latinopoulou also advocated for the cessation of subsidies for those not fulfilling their legal duties. Regarding urban policing in Athens, specifically in areas like Agios Panteleimonas and Omonoia, she proposed creating police foot patrols equipped with trained Malinois and German Shepherd dogs. She stated these patrols would aim to identify and arrest individuals who she claims have obtained asylum wrongfully.
