Afroditi Latinopoulou responds to Antonis Remos regarding Gipsy Kings

Afroditi Latinopoulou, president of Fonis Logiki, responded via Instagram to a comment made by singer Antonis Remos during his concert in Thessaloniki. During the performance, Remos mentioned that he would have liked a certain political figure to be present, specifically naming Latinopoulou and suggesting she would fit in with the performing group, the Gipsy Kings.

Latinopoulou released a video response stating that she declined to attend as a form of protest against the group's name. She remarked, “Antonis, I would like to be there, but I did not come as a sign of protest because the group is called Gipsy Kings. If it were called or renamed to Roma Kings, I would come with great pleasure.” She concluded her message by saying, “Don't call us racists, understand?”
