Finnish melodic metal project After Infinity has released a new single, ‘Whisper in the Air’, featuring guest vocals from Mika Tauriainen. The track marks Tauriainen’s first musical release in over ten years.

Originally intended as a short instrumental interlude by founder and songwriter Zsolt Szilagyi, the piece evolved into a full four-minute composition through Tauriainen’s vocal and creative contributions. Unlike the band’s heavier material, the song relies entirely on piano and orchestral arrangements without guitars or drums.

The single serves as a preview for the band’s second album, ‘Beyond Eternity’, which is scheduled for release on October 23, 2026, via Rockshots Records. The upcoming album is expected to blend power metal, heavy metal, and progressive influences.
