Afya boosts medical education in Brazil with AI exam platform and focus on internal‑medicine specialists

Afya Educação Médica highlighted the role of internal‑medicine specialists (clinico médico) in Brazil, noting that more than 59,000 doctors work in this field and stressing their importance for comprehensive patient care. At the same time, Afda’s Paraíba campus introduced an artificial‑intelligence‑driven study platform, "Aprove‑se," created by student João Victor Rocha. The platform provides free access for all candidates to the Afya medical entrance exam, offering thousands of discipline‑sorted questions, simulators, past exams, video lessons, essay correction and AI‑based support for doubt resolution and study planning. Afya’s director‑general Sérgio Ricardo said the initiative reinforces the institution’s commitment to a complete student journey from admission to graduation.
