Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University pursues hospital accreditation

Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University (AFSÜ) Hospital held a meeting to review progress regarding the accreditation process conducted by the Turkish Health Services Quality and Accreditation Institute (TÜSKA).

During the meeting, hospital leadership discussed efforts to establish higher quality healthcare conditions and strengthen the culture of continuous improvement. Quality Management Director Nazmi Kanad presented the results of a three-stage evaluation process conducted throughout 2026. This included a physical inspection of 49 departments and areas across multiple hospital blocks, as well as a self-assessment covering 58 standards and 244 evaluation criteria within the framework of Health Accreditation Standards.
